Privacy Policy for Vantage Plugins

1. Introduction
Welcome to Vantage Dashboard, a product developed by The Wagenleiter Group Sdn. Bhd. (“Vantage”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Vantage Dashboard WooCommerce plugin and our associated services at vantageplugins.net.
2. Information We Collect
As a downloadable WordPress plugin, the vast majority of data processing happens locally on your own server. However, to provide our services, data is handled in the following ways:

Account & Billing Information: Purchases and subscriptions are handled securely by our authorized merchants of record or marketplaces (e.g., Freemius, WooCommerce Marketplace, Envato). We do not store your credit card details.

Store Metrics & Analytics: Your store’s financial data (orders, revenue, product catalogs) is processed and cached entirely on your local WordPress database.

Authentication Tokens: OAuth tokens for external ad networks and analytics providers (Google, Meta, TikTok) are stored locally in your WordPress database. Our API bridge servers act strictly as a temporary, stateless pass-through to facilitate the connection and do not store or retain your authentication tokens.
3. Third-Party Integrations & Data Sharing
To power the Vantage Dashboard, your local server will transmit specific data to authorized third-party APIs based on your configuration. By using Vantage, you agree to these data flows:

AI Intelligence (OpenAI & Google Gemini): When you use features like “Ask Vantage”, “Daily Briefing”, or the “Win-Back Email” generator, relevant aggregated data or specific customer metrics (e.g., order counts, first names, lifetime value) are sent securely to your chosen AI provider via your personal API key. We do not train our own models on your data.

Analytics Providers: The plugin fetches and displays data from Google Analytics 4, Plausible, or Jetpack based on your settings.

Ad Networks: The plugin fetches read-only ad spend and ROAS data from Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.
4. End-Customer Data (Data Processing)
You (the store owner) are the designated Data Controller for your WooCommerce customers. Vantage acts as a Data Processor. The plugin processes your customers’ purchase history locally. If you utilize the AI Win-Back Email generator, you consent to sending the customer’s first name, order count, and lifetime value to OpenAI or Google Gemini solely for the purpose of generating the email draft.
5. Security
We use industry-standard encryption for our API bridges. However, the security of your local WordPress database, your customers’ data, and your API keys stored within it remains your sole responsibility.
6. Your Rights & Data Wiping
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your account data. To permanently erase the analytics cache, external API tokens, and settings Vantage stores locally on your site, you may use the “Factory Reset” tool located within the plugin’s Tools tab.
